Show Up for NYC's Animals
Your presence matters. Join us at City Hall to demand $1.5M for spay/neuter and $2M for a pet food pantry. Council members pay attention when constituents show up in person.
Meet Your Council Member
Lobby Day
Meet face-to-face with your Council Member or their staff. We'll prepare you with talking points, pair you with experienced advocates, and walk you through the process. No experience needed — just your voice and your story.
What to Bring / Expect
- A personal story about an animal you've rescued, fostered, or helped
- Comfortable shoes — we'll be walking the halls
- Your phone to document the day and share on social media
- Water and snacks — it's a long day but worth every minute
- We'll provide: printed materials, talking points, and name badges
Make Some Noise
City Hall Rally
A high-energy rally on the steps of City Hall to show the Council we mean business. Bring your signs, bring your voice, bring your community. The budget vote is coming — let's make sure they hear us loud and clear.
What to Bring / Expect
- Homemade signs — the more creative, the better
- Wear ORANGE (the campaign color) if you can
- Photos of animals you've helped (printed or on your phone)
- Friends, family, neighbors — strength in numbers
- Energy and passion — we'll bring the megaphone
Can't Make It In Person?
You can still make a huge impact. Write a letter to your Council Member, generate social media posts, or share the campaign with your network.
